1. Who operates Comparesame

Comparesame is operated by Gabriel Nedea, Persoană Fizică Autorizată (a Romanian sole trader), Ilfov, Romania. Contact: [email protected].

2. What this site is

Comparesame is a free information service. It sells nothing, takes no payment, and is not itself a shop. We are not a seller within the meaning of Romanian Law 365/2002 on electronic commerce or GEO 34/2014, so the identity and information duties those laws place on sellers do not apply to us in that capacity; the identity block above is provided for transparency anyway. Because nothing is sold here, the ANPC consumer-complaints channel and the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform, which exist for purchase disputes, do not apply to Comparesame itself — they remain available to you against the shop where you actually buy.

3. How the service works

You paste a product link or label text. Your browser reads the product's name, type, declared composition, quantity and price, and you confirm or correct each value. We then compare it against offers already in our index and show any with the same declared composition that cost at least 10% less per unit, each linking to its shop.

4. How we rank results

Offers are ranked by saving per unit only, highest first. There is no paid placement, no affiliate link and no advertising at launch — a shop cannot pay to rank higher, and we earn nothing from any link we show you. If this ever changes, this section will say so plainly before it takes effect.

5. What "declared composition" means

We show the composition exactly as declared on the shop's page at the time we, or you, read it — the fibres, materials or ingredients the shop itself printed or published. Textile, food and cosmetics labelling rules bind the shop that makes the claim, not us; we neither verify nor certify it.

6. Accuracy — please read this

Names, types, compositions, quantities and prices are read automatically and confirmed by you or by our crawler; they can be wrong or out of date. Always check the current price and details on the shop's own page before buying. We do not vouch for any shop we link to.

7. Checking a shop's safety

Next to each result we show whether the shop's page uses HTTPS and, when known, the date its domain was registered. Links to VirusTotal or URLVoid are there for your own independent check — we do not run those checks ourselves and do not vouch for their results either.

8. Our relationship with the shops we link to

We have no commercial or agency relationship with any shop we show you. We do not act on a shop's behalf, we are not its representative, and — see section 4 — no shop pays to appear or to rank higher.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not: send more requests than the published limits (10 page fetches, 30 comparisons and 10 saves per minute, per visitor); try to make us fetch a private or internal address; automate access to this site beyond those limits, or frame it inside another site without permission; or paste unlawful content. We may block a visitor who does.

10. No republishing of shop content

We display facts we read from a shop's page and link to it. We do not copy, store or republish the shop's images, descriptions or other content beyond the confirmed facts (name, type, composition, quantity, price) needed to compare.

11. Intellectual property

The Comparesame name, its software and the design of this site belong to us. We make no claim over any shop's content, brand or trademark — we only link to it, per section 10. If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with the page and the concern, and we will look into it.

12. No warranty, no liability for shop information

Comparesame is provided as-is, free of charge. We do not warrant that any fact we show is accurate, current or complete, and we are not responsible for the products, prices, availability or conduct of any shop we link to. Your purchase contract, if any, is with that shop, not with us.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Courts at the operator's registered seat have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold under EU law in your own country.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes; the effective date above shows the latest version. If any part of these terms turns out not to be enforceable, the rest still applies.
